Angela is a qualified, experienced, insured and independent bitting consultant covering the UK, with 35 years experience in equestrian industry. She’s an advanced rider and coach with a wealth of knowledge, and has trained with international level coaches over many years.
She regularly writes articles for national equestrian publications, such as Your Horse Magazine, also gives talks and demonstrations on bitting for British Dressage, Pony Club and Riding Clubs, has studied biomechanics, horse and rider balance and equine behaviour and psychology.
Angela evaluates the horse’s mouth, facial conformation, and bridle fit, discusses concerns and history, observes the horse under saddle, and then selects and tests different bits to improve the horse’s comfort and performance.
Premium Bit Fitting and Training
This consultation includes teaching methods to alleviate evasions, improve responsiveness, and achieve self-carriage, focusing on correcting and improving training to aid the horse’s physical development and enhance the training experience.
